“The fourth semester explores architectural design techniques, from the domestic to the urban scales, to influence social life and political forces. This includes rigorous and playful investigations across four techniques of analysis and representation: (1) research that offers critical reflections on contemporary culture in relationship to urban and architectural spaces; (2) drawings and models that depict behaviors and protocols; (3) design studies that reinvent housing typologies; and (4) precise, measured design drawings that demonstrate their intended social impacts.”
