The SENTIO Hostel offers a truly immersive indoor-outdoor experience in the stunning Marin Headlands. The architecture of the hostel seamlessly blends the interior and exterior spaces, creating a fluid and engaging environment for its users. By incorporating outdoor transitional spaces and requiring guests to step outdoors to access different areas of the hostel, the design encourages a deeper connection with the site and its surroundings.

Taking inspiration from the Rosebery House, the Sentio Hostel's design is carefully curated to enhance the natural beauty of the location. The exaggerated organic shapes of the outdoor circulation areas in contrast with the uniform orthogonal buildings, emphasizes the surrounding topography and highlights the unique character of the landscape. This approach creates a sense of being grounded in the location, rather than being a distraction from it.

The hostel's design is all about the site and the experience it offers. By connecting guests to the natural world and encouraging an appreciation for the local flora and fauna, the Sentio Hostel immerses visitors in the beauty of the Marin Headlands.
